Laumas TFGP Load Cell Mounting Kit
Laumas TFGP Load Cell Mounting Kit
The Laumas TFGP load cell mounting kit is used to install compatible FCAX and FCAL load cells in industrial weighing systems. It provides a mechanical interface between the structure and the load cell, helping the weighing assembly maintain controlled compression loading across each support point.
This mounting kit is intended for bending and shear beam load cell applications, with two model options available. The TFGP is rated up to 500 kg, while the TFGP2000 extends the application range up to 1500 kg. Correct selection depends on the load per support, the load cell capacity and the mechanical layout of the weighing structure.
The kit is made from AISI 304 stainless steel and includes an upper plate with a compression joint in AISI 304 stainless steel and rubber. This joint arrangement helps compensate for minor misalignment between the support plates of the structure, reducing the risk of poor load introduction caused by uneven or imperfectly aligned mounting faces.
Engineering Use
TFGP mounting kits are typically specified for weighing systems with multiple supports, including tanks, hoppers and platform assemblies. In these applications, consistent load transfer and correct load cell positioning are important for measurement stability, repeatability and long-term mechanical reliability.
- Compatible load cells: Laumas FCAX and FCAL
- Model options: TFGP and TFGP2000
- Application range: up to 1500 kg, depending on model
- Joint type: AISI 304 stainless steel and rubber compression joint
- Typical use: multi-support tank, hopper and platform weighing systems
Selection Guidance
When specifying a Laumas TFGP mounting kit, confirm the load cell model, the required load range and the structure’s mounting geometry before ordering. The mounting kit should be selected as part of the complete weighing assembly, taking account of dead load, live load, number of supports and any process forces acting on the vessel or platform.
For replacement projects, check the existing kit reference and load cell type before fitting. Where the installation details are uncertain, confirm compatibility with GNW Instrumentation before proceeding.
