Laumas PPV Load Cell Mounting Kit
The Laumas PPV range comprises mounting plates for self-centring joint foot assemblies used in industrial load cell weighing systems. These plates are used to help create constraints against lateral forces and provide anti-tilt support where the mechanical structure must remain stable under operating load.
The range is listed for use with single point, bending beam, shear beam and compression load cells, making it relevant to a broad range of weighing installations. Compatibility should always be checked against the load cell type, mounting geometry, foot arrangement and the required working capacity before specifying or replacing a component.
Model Selection
Four model variants are available within the PPV family. PPV and PPVZ are listed with a maximum load of 2,000 kg. PPV80 and PPV60Z are listed with a maximum load of 5,000 kg. Material selection is also model dependent: PPV and PPV80 are AISI 304 stainless steel versions, while PPVZ and PPV60Z are galvanised steel versions.

Installation Context
In weighing system design, the mounting hardware is as important as the load cell itself. Poor alignment, uncontrolled side loading or inadequate restraint can affect measurement stability and may shorten component life. The PPV plates support a controlled mounting interface when used with the appropriate self-centring joint foot and correctly specified load cell.
Typical installations include tanks, hoppers, platforms, rollers and general machinery weighing assemblies. For OEMs, maintenance engineers and system integrators, the key buying consideration is to select the correct PPV variant for the load range, material requirement and mechanical configuration of the weighing structure.
