Kern PNJ precision balances combine a robust tuning-fork weighing system with automatic internal adjustment and optional verification. Capacities from 620 g to 12 kg and readabilities from 0.001 g to 0.1 g cover fine laboratory measurement and larger routine samples.

A capacity bar displays the remaining weighing range, while automatic reference optimisation progressively improves the calculated average piece weight during counting. The 0.001 g model includes a glass draught shield to protect finer readings from air movement.
