Laumas ACCSFER Load Cell Mounting Kit
Laumas ACCSFER Load Cell Mounting Kit
The Laumas ACCSFER is a stainless steel load cell mounting accessory with ball for industrial weighing installations. It is used to compensate for misalignment of structural support plates, helping the weighing assembly transfer load into the load cell more correctly.
This accessory is relevant where bending beam, shear beam or compression load cells are installed into tanks, hoppers, machinery frames or process weighing structures. In these applications, even small mounting errors can introduce side loading, local stress or inconsistent mechanical behaviour. The ACCSFER provides a simple mechanical interface to support alignment at the load introduction point.
Variant Selection
GNW supplies the Laumas ACCSFER in two associated item codes: ACCSFERM12 and ACCSFERM20. Selection must be based on the load cell model, thread size and maximum static load required by the installation.
- ACCSFERM12: M12 x 1.75 thread, maximum static load up to 2,000 kg, net weight 0.3 kg.
- ACCSFERM20: M20 x 2.5 thread, maximum static load up to 5,000 kg, net weight 0.4 kg.
Laumas lists the M12 version for FTKL, FTL, FTP/-P, FTK, FTZ and CLS load cells. The M20 version is listed for FTK, FTKL, FTP 3000-5000, FTZ 5000 and CLS5000. Compatibility should always be confirmed against the exact load cell model and capacity fitted to the weighing system.
Industrial Weighing Use
The ACCSFER is not a complete weighing module with anti-lift or lateral restraint features. It is a mounting accessory with ball, intended to assist alignment between the structure and the load cell. Where the vessel or frame is exposed to vibration, wind loading, moving parts or significant horizontal forces, the overall mechanical design should be reviewed to ensure suitable restraints are included.
For OEM builds, maintenance replacements and system integration work, ACCSFER provides a compact method of improving load introduction in compatible Laumas installations. It is particularly useful when refurbishing weighing points where the load cell type is retained but the support interface needs to be corrected or standardised.
