Laumas HD Load Cell Mounting Kit

The Laumas HD load cell mounting kit is a self-centring adjustable hygienic foot for use with Laumas FLC 3A hygienic compression load cells. It provides the mechanical interface between the load cell and the supported structure, helping engineers build stable weighing assemblies for process vessels, machinery and hygienic production equipment.

Manufactured in stainless steel, the HD series is intended for installations where cleanability, corrosion resistance and controlled load introduction are important. Typical projects include tank weighing, hopper weighing, filling systems, process skids and OEM machinery where the weighing point must be mechanically supported without compromising the load cell installation.

Laumas lists the HD as a mounting foot for FLC 3A load cells with an application range up to 20,000 kg. Threaded versions are available from M12 x 1.75 through to M36 x 4, allowing the mounting foot to be specified according to the load cell size and the mechanical design of the support structure. Selection should always consider the total vessel load, number of supports, load distribution, dynamic effects and any installation-specific mechanical restraints.

Engineering Use

The self-centring function assists with alignment at the weighing point, which is particularly relevant where vessels, platforms or frames may be subject to small movements during filling, emptying, cleaning or operation.
