Laumas PV Load Cell Mounting Kit
The Laumas PV and PVZ mounting kits provide a mechanical interface for compatible shear and bending beam load cells in industrial weighing systems. They are used where the load cell requires controlled load introduction, support for alignment and restraint against unwanted lateral movement.
These mounting kits are listed for Laumas FTK, FTKL, FTP, FTP-P and FTZ load cells, with an application range up to 2,000 kg. They are commonly specified for compact weighing assemblies where the structure, load cell and support points must work together reliably, including tanks, hoppers, roller systems and platform installations.
The assembly includes an adjustable upper plate, self-centring joint foot and locking screw. Height adjustment helps the installer set up the load path correctly, while the self-centring foot assists with lateral force constraint and anti-tilt behaviour. This is particularly important where minor structural misalignment could otherwise affect load transfer into the cell.
Two material versions are available:
- PV: AISI 304 stainless steel version.
- PVZ: galvanised steel version.
Both versions have a listed net weight of 2.7 kg and are intended for use with the compatible Laumas load cell models stated above. The stainless steel PV option is typically selected where improved corrosion resistance is required, while the PVZ version may be appropriate for general industrial installations where galvanised steel is acceptable.
When selecting a mounting kit, check the load cell model, required application range, support plate layout and environmental conditions. The mounting kit should be considered as part of the complete weighing assembly rather than as an isolated component, as correct load introduction and mechanical alignment are essential to repeatable weighing performance.
