The Laumas PV80EN1090 is a stainless steel load cell mounting kit for selected Laumas shear beam weighing installations. It is specified for FTP 3000–5000 and FTZ 5000 load cells, with a maximum static load of 5000 kg. Typical applications include rollers, platforms, tanks and hoppers where the mounting arrangement must help maintain load cell alignment while resisting unwanted structural movement.

This mounting kit is made from AISI 304 stainless steel, including the upper plate, lower plate and block. The construction is suited to industrial weighing environments where corrosion resistance and mechanical consistency are important selection factors. Its EN1090 certification supports use where compliance for structural components in plant and machinery is required.

Installation Function

The PV80EN1090 incorporates a stainless steel self-centring joint foot. This provides restraint against lateral forces and anti-tilt movement, helping reduce the risk of side loading that can affect weighing accuracy or damage a shear beam load cell. The arrangement also compensates for misalignment between the support plates of the structure, which is particularly relevant during fabrication, installation and later maintenance work.
