Laumas TFFSB Load Cell Mounting Kit

The Laumas TFFSB load cell mounting kit is a compact mounting assembly for FCAX and FCAL bending beam load cells used in industrial weighing systems. It is intended for installations requiring three or more supports, such as small tanks, hoppers, platforms and machinery frames where accurate load introduction and mechanical protection are important.

Manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a stainless steel and rubber joint, the TFFSB helps compensate for misalignment between the support plates of the structure. This is important during installation and operation, as poorly aligned mounting points can introduce unwanted forces into the load cell and affect weighing performance.

The kit has a maximum static load of 500 kg. This figure should be considered alongside the selected load cell capacity, the number of supports, the dead weight of the structure, live load distribution and any process forces present in the application. It should not be used to increase the rated capacity of a load cell or weighing system.

Practical Installation Context

For OEMs, maintenance teams and weighing system integrators, the TFFSB provides a defined mechanical interface between the structure and the bending beam load cell. The inclusion of a locking screw helps protect the load cell during transport and installation, reducing the risk of avoidable mechanical stress before the system is commissioned.
