Sauter AHB Hardness Test Blocks
Shore hardness comparison block sets
Sauter AHB block sets give you a quick, practical way to check the repeatability of a Shore durometer between scheduled calibrations. Choose the Shore A set with seven plates or the Shore D set with three plates. Each plate provides a different comparison point across the relevant scale, with a stated tolerance of ±2 Shore units.
The plates are supplied in a protective case, making them easy to keep together at the test bench or carry between inspection areas. Versions with an optional calibration certificate are available where documented results are required.
Choosing the correct set
- AHBA-01: seven comparison plates for Shore A instruments.
- AHBD-01: three comparison plates for Shore D instruments.
These blocks are intended for routine instrument checks. Select the set that matches the Shore scale used by your tester and follow the tester manufacturer’s checking procedure.
