Sauter AHMO steel comparison blocks support routine checks of compatible Leeb hardness testers. Choose AHMO D02 for 790 ±40 HL, AHMO D03 for 630 ±40 HL or AHMO D04 for 530 ±40 HL.

Each block is 90 mm in diameter and is available with an optional calibration certificate. Select the hardness level closest to the materials normally tested.

Who issues the certificate?	The calibration certificate is issued by KERN & Sohn for your Sauter test block.
What testing is included?	Following an initial check of the block, ten measurements are taken using a calibrated Leeb hardness tester with a Type D impact device. The ambient temperature is recorded during calibration.
What does the certificate report?	The certificate identifies the block and calibration equipment and records the individual HLD readings, mean, minimum and maximum values, and percentage deviation from the block's stated hardness value.
