Sauter HK Leeb Hardness Tester

The Sauter HK series provides portable Leeb hardness testing with an external Type D impact device for suitable metal components. It displays Leeb values and supported conversions into other common hardness scales.

Choose HK-D where a comparison block is not require, or HK-DB where the hardness comparison block is included. Both versions are available with an optional calibration certificate.

Who issues the certificate?	The calibration certificate is issued by KERN & Sohn for your Sauter hardness tester.
What testing is included?	Following a functional check, the tester is checked by repeated measurements on reference blocks of known Leeb hardness. The hardness levels and scope of testing are recorded on the certificate.
What does the certificate report?	The certificate identifies the instrument, impact device, reference blocks and calibration conditions. It records the individual readings, mean, minimum and maximum values, and percentage deviation from the reference hardness.
