Kern PCJ Precision Balances

Kern PCJ precision balances combine fine readability, manual internal adjustment and optional verification for laboratory, pharmaceutical, jewellery and quality-control applications. The range includes a 600 g model with 0.01 g readability and a 6000 g model with 0.1 g readability, allowing the appropriate balance between capacity and resolution to be selected.

Integrated alibi memory supports paperless storage of weighing results, while GLP/ISO-compatible records can include the date, time and identification number. The KERN Universal Port allows optional RS-232, USB, Ethernet, WiFi or Bluetooth interfaces to be added for connection to compatible printers, computers and laboratory systems. Counting, percentage weighing, checkweighing, formulation and animal-weighing functions support varied measurement tasks, while an underfloor weighing hook is included.

Can the Kern PCJ be used for approved weighing?

Yes. Both models can be ordered with verification for approved Class III weighing. Verification must be selected when ordering because it cannot normally be added after delivery.

Yes. The balance incorporates an internal adjustment weight operated manually using the rotary control on the side of the housing.
