Sauter TB Coating Thickness Meter
Sauter TB coating thickness meters provide portable measurement of non-magnetic coatings on suitable metal substrates. Choose an F model for coatings such as paint, lacquer or plastic on ferrous metals, an N model for insulating coatings on non-ferrous metals, or the FN model for automatic ferrous and non-ferrous substrate detection.
The range includes models measuring up to 1,000 µm or 2,000 µm, with an external probe for less accessible measuring points. Standard measuring tolerance is 3% of the measured value. The Offset-Accur two-point adjustment can improve results to 1% or less within the locally adjusted measuring range; this should not be interpreted as the instrument’s unrestricted accuracy across its full range.
Calibration foils and a zero plate support routine adjustment, while selectable µm and mil units, automatic power-off and the supplied carrying case suit regular inspection in automotive refinishing, metal finishing, production and maintenance.
