Sauter TB Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

The Sauter TB is a compact ultrasonic thickness gauge for checking material when only one side can be reached. It is a practical choice for routine wall-thickness measurements on pipes, tanks, fabricated parts and other suitable components.

It measures from 1.5–200 mm with 0.1 mm readability. The separate 5 MHz probe is easier to position than an integral sensor when access is restricted, and readings can be displayed in millimetres or inches.

The gauge is supplied with its probe, contact gel, zero plate, batteries and carrying case, so it is ready for everyday inspection work. As with any ultrasonic gauge, reliable results depend on the material, surface condition, coupling and correct sound-velocity setting.
