The Sauter TN GOLD Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge uses non-destructive ultrasonic measurement to help assess gold bars and coins for false cores or inconsistent material. The supplied software supports comparison with the sound velocity of precious-metal alloys.

The TN GOLD measures from 0.75mm to 80mm with 0.01mm readability. It includes USB connectivity, an external 7MHz probe, internal storage for up to 20 files with 100 readings per file, a zero plate and ultrasonic contact gel.
