Kern ACS analytical balances provide 0.1 mg readability with capacities from 82 g to 320 g for formulation, sample analysis, research and routine laboratory testing. External adjustment allows users to check and adjust the balance using suitable traceable test weights, while the glass draught shield helps protect sensitive readings from air movement.

A single-cell weighing system supports stable measurement and short stabilisation times. Selectable stability filters assist during dosing, recipe weighing allows ingredients to be tared and documented as they are added, and automatic data output can transmit stable results. USB and RS-232 interfaces support connection to compatible computers, printers and data systems.
