Sauter DC-Y1 Torque Transducers

Sauter DC-Y1 Torque Transducers

Sauter DC-Y1 static torque transducers are designed for incorporation into torque test rigs, production fixtures and other measurement systems. The flange-style sensor converts clockwise or anticlockwise torque into an electrical signal for a compatible indicator, amplifier or data-acquisition device.

Models cover nominal capacities from 5 Nm to 500 Nm. Their compact steel construction supports fixed installation where a separate sensor is preferable to a complete bench torque gauge. Electrical characteristics and mechanical dimensions are model-specific, so the selected transducer must be matched to the intended measuring range, compatible electronics and mounting arrangement.

The DC-Y1 can support tool, component and assembly verification when installed as part of a suitable traceable measuring system. It is not a plug-and-measure instrument and should not be described as a complete calibration solution without the necessary indicator, fixtures and calibration evidence.
